There is no universal "best" media. The ideal choice depends on:

  • Part geometry

  • Burr size

  • Surface finish requirements

  • Production volume

  • Cycle time goals

  • Cost per finished part


A media that performs exceptionally well in one application may be completely unsuitable in another.
